Tests of mesopic vision and glare sensitivity are important supplements to photopic vision testing, especially when night-driving vision capability requires assessment. And if the patient has intraocular lenses or had refractive surgery, it is advisable to check his mesopic vision and glare sensitivity both pre- and postoperatively, as well as tinted glasses are to be prescribed.
For more than 30 years, OCULUS has been manufacturing instruments to test mesopic vision and glare sensitivity; these units more than meet the requirements of the DOG (Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft). High-quality technology and electronic systems, together with the OCULUS Company’s stylish designs, speak for themselves in every respect. During the development process, special attention was given to ergonomic considerations for both patient and examiner.
